Once apon a time explorers Magellan, Cook, Krusenstern and Columbus got locked at the South Pole. They were short of canned food, the schooner rested fettered in ice and their radio transmitter was broken. They had no chance. What did they have to do? They could only hope and rely upon the SOS signal…
